Process
I applied for the position through NASA's OSSI website for students seeking summer employment.
Five days later, I received an interview from an internship coordinator stating that I was being identified as a summer candidate for the specific project to which I'd applied.
From there, a phone interview was scheduled for a few weeks later.
The interview itself was quite easy. It had a few technical questions, mostly covering entry-level chemistry and materials science principles.
A few months later, I heard back that I was no longer being considered for the position.
