Process

The process begins with a written test. The test includes sections on basic aptitude, coding skills, data structures, and systems.

The coding skills section is a bit tricky, as it asks questions about the outcomes of print statements and if-else execution within loops. Short-listing occurs after this round.

This is followed by two rounds of technical interviews. The interviewers focused heavily on questions from operating systems, specifically file systems and system calls. It is advisable to have a thorough understanding of system calls, file tables, and the basics of file systems like NTFS and ext3.

Upon clearing these rounds, there is a manager interview. The manager will inquire about your projects, future goals, and other personality-related aspects. Following this is the HR interview, which largely repeats the manager interview. An offer is made at the end of this process.

Questions

There was a lot of stress on the whole procedure of a System Call, where they asked in detail about every step of the process.
