NetApp came to the University of Pittsburgh Career Fair. I applied there itself and got an email a couple of weeks later scheduling me for a phone interview.
The interview touched all corners of CSE, including:
- Algorithms
- Data Structures
- C/C++
- System-level discussions on Segmentation and Paging
- Storage/Database related questions
There was also a routine review of my resume.

Pros: Work-life balance, a good project, and helping people all over.
Cons: There were a lot of meetings, but overall, it is good. I do not think it is much of a problem. But, it's good to know what is happening outside of your project, too.

Pros: Friendly people, great intern culture. We had leadership give us career talks and volunteering in the community opportunities.
Cons: Unclear leadership and project design specifications. I felt like my project was not very important, although I do know some interns who had better experiences. The company has a pretty old average age and is not growing or changing very well against circumstances.
