Crazy crunch culture, horrible management clueless about the right direction for the company. Most "ambitious" projects get hyped, get shown off at events but never see the light of day. Hierarchy becomes a bottleneck for people looking to change things, and management doesn't give a damn about it.
Lots of effort goes into deciding communication tools, JIRA organization, Confluence organization, and meetings, but it ends up being such a pointless exercise almost all the time.
Get it together. Get people who can execute and deliver onboard. Don't drive your workforce into crunch just to get scrappy demos for events. Identify and empower youth who are there to fix the bottlenecks, especially just to cozy up to upper management. A message to the Indian management: chin up to the rest of 'em.
