Pros

Offers great benefits, and salaries are above average for the industry.

The best technical group you will find to solve problems.

Cons

Depends on the business unit, but SMAI is poorly run due to the current GM and Directors. Most of the other units seem to be well run with positive feedback from employees. Middle management makes lame attempts to make decisions for the technical direction of products and processes.

Advice to Management

Find the people in your middle management areas feeding you BS and not staying true to the original corporate culture. What they present to you may not be the reality down in the trenches.

Also, you should be up front with pricing with the GAO and walk the talk in being good corporate citizens.
