The interview process was very quick for me.
It started with a long conversation with a recruiter.
This was followed by a long behavioral interview with a UI manager.
Then came the take-home test.
Finally, the onsite virtual interviews included:
I found the interviews quite easy because I had prepared. I did not do any coding practice, but I spent a lot of time on javascript.info to help me recall all my JS fundamentals. I would advise anyone to do the same because it was easy BECAUSE I refreshed those concepts.
Overall, I liked the process. After the onsite, the UI manager, with whom I developed a really great relationship, scheduled a call with me to give me a one-hour feedback rundown. (I personally would have preferred my recruiter to deliver the not-so-great news because I had my hopes up, lol.)
Basically, they found my solution to be very encapsulated and hard to understand, and they said I need some experience with bigger companies.
I don't take it as a failure because I am now super confident that I can solve anything coming my way, and the right company for me will hire me. I gained so much from the behavioral conversations; those were a no-brainer.
STUDY THE CULTURE MEMO (I can't stress this enough) and be relaxed. They are not there to trick you or anything like that.
Expect a lot of behavioral questions.
Study the culture memo. Take notes if necessary, expand on it in your own words, and be ready to have a thorough conversation about it. I spent about 30-45 minutes more each time because of this. It was interesting.
The coding part was trivial array manipulation and JavaScript fundamentals (DOM manipulation specifically). There were no LeetCode-type questions.
