The interview process involved a recruiter phone call, followed by a team lead video chat, and then a technical screen via video chat.
All conversations were friendly and professional.
Do emphasize what you're looking for, not what you're running from. (They headhunted me, so I didn't have a vision prepared of what I hoped to find at Netflix.)
The technical screen was a sort of stream-of-consciousness Q&A through my CV to probe for technical depth. The interviewer interrupted frequently, which is understandable to keep things moving toward the goals. However, twice it seemed premature enough that I redirected back to what I was saying so I could finish my thought.
As others have mentioned, the coding interview portion can be take-home instead of on-the-spot, if you request it.
