I applied through an employee referral and completed the phone screen and five onsite interviews. The interviewers were professional and respectful throughout — definitely a highlight of the process.

The questions were more open-ended than expected, and it became clear that for this particular role, they were primarily targeting candidates with prior adtech experience.

Unfortunately, the recruiting experience was disappointing. Despite giving two weeks' notice for my availability (around July 4th), I received no confirmation until I followed up two days before the proposed interview date.

After receiving a rejection, I requested feedback, as written as an option in the email, and followed up again a week later — no response.

My referral contact also confirmed that this recruiter had been unresponsive during their own process, requiring intervention from other recruiters.
