Process
First, a phone screen. Nothing too technical; I went through what was on my resume and discussed several technologies. I passed with no problem.
Then, a phone coding screen. I had to do a live coding session with the interviewer. The person was very nice and helpful. It's important to think out loud and let the interviewer know your thought process so that they can help. I was able to answer all three problems correctly with a little bit of help.
After that, I got an email saying I wasn't an exact match for what they were looking for. Wish I had studied more.

Pros: Netflix's top management has a simple and well-thought-out strategic vision, which they communicate well to employees. The company is consistently profitable, and salaries tend to be substantially above market rates.
Cons: Netflix pays well to get the best person for the job. The downsides of this are that often people are overqualified for what they are doing, which can lead to a lack of challenge for them.
Worse, Netflix quickly and unceremoniously fires anyone whose skills no longer match the available work, or even whose manager doesn't especially like them. Retraining people for different jobs just doesn't occur.
If the immediate work fits your professional goals, Netflix can be a good place to work, but don't plan on a long career there.

Cons: Technically uninspired. Surprised at how many other experienced engineers here don't understand core concepts like immutability and idempotency, which leads to badly designed systems. The work is boring and easy and will not make you a better engineer.
My managers didn't do anything, which left ICs to deal with PMs and designers all the time.
Disorganized management and structure. Instability in management made it obvious how unnecessary most of them were.
