Pros: Everything has been amazing since I joined. Great pay, amazing colleagues, and incredibly challenging. It's an everyday learning experience where you get to push your skills to the limit. Not just coding, but also soft skills that are equally, if not more, important for the job. The perks are great. Netflix really takes good care of you and your family. Medical, life insurance, retirement – you name it. They offer the best there is out there.

Cons: Onboarding is very overwhelming. It took months for me to feel I really understood what I was doing. There's a ton of information out there, but there's no path to follow; it feels unorganized at times. If you're not comfortable with ambiguity, you might have a hard time. There are no rules or instructions to follow on how to do your job. You're hired as an expert, so people will give you problems to solve rather than instructions of what to do. It's a style not suited for everyone. Fast-changing and adapting culture. It feels like things move very rapidly. I get the feeling that this is not a "secure" job, which I'm fine with, but I would expect some people to find it very uncertain and become anxious about it.
