Process
The phone screen was surprisingly relaxed, lasting about 30 minutes. We covered my background and some basic coding questions.
The technical round was where I got really nervous, but it turned out to be less daunting than I expected. They asked me about finding the k closest points to the origin, and funny enough, the question was almost identical to a problem I had practiced on prachub.com just days before.
After that, there was a behavioral interview, and they extended an offer pretty quickly, which I happily accepted.
Questions
Given an array of points where points[i] = [xi, yi] represents a point on the X-Y plane, return the k closest points to the origin (0, 0).
Discuss expected vs. worst-case time complexity.
