I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks.

• Cold outreach from one of Netflix's internal recruiters via email.
• Screener call with said recruiter.
• Scheduling emails (multiple times) with the coordinator for the manager interview.
• Day of the manager interview, the coordinator tells me 1 hour prior that the manager can't make the interview and needs to reschedule.
• Email again to reschedule the manager interview.
• Interview with the manager for 45 minutes; we have a lot in common, not very many questions from his end, just a few from my end. I think he can tell I know the role and processes well, though he starts asking very specific process questions about my current company (who is in business with his company), which I'm unable to fully disclose, but I try to answer as best I can within boundaries and without breaking any internal NDAs. He seemed slightly annoyed that I wasn't naming specific roadmap data and such (but again I was trying to stick to an NDA). We then ended the interview at the 40-minute mark; no follow-up from him on next steps or anything, just seemed like he wanted to move on because I wasn't comfortable giving him some secret sauce of my current employer type of answers... being fully transparent some of his questions did make me feel a bit uncomfortable. I expected better from a Netflix interview.

What do the current company and products look like for 2027 and beyond?
