Cons: Engineering is a total mess: * Forget about work-life balance, as you will be pinged over Slack around the clock. People are expecting you to take meetings at like 9 pm to accommodate other time zones. * Leadership cares about nothing but how Jira tickets flow. It is more important to make sure your tickets look good than to actually do work. * Priorities are changing every 5 minutes. * Unless you take time out of your nights and weekends, it is impossible to get anything done due to distractions and changing priorities. * Insane inefficiencies are seriously affecting the entire engineering team, coming from homegrown deployment tools that are outdated and way under-documented. The collective wasted time on these is incredible, yet the leadership does not prioritize replacing them.
