I love my boss and the team I work on. Our VP and SVP are also very supportive and open to discussions and input. The benefits are excellent, there's interesting work, and you're left alone when you're on PTO. At least in engineering and platform engineering, you'll be treated like an adult and trusted to do your work without any micromanaging. The vast majority of people working here are genuinely smart people who really do want to help you solve problems.
Some departments are not run as well. Some teams employ people who are quick to anger, or don't really seem to do anything or contribute in any way on projects/collaborations. As with any enterprise, there are also some straight-up incompetent people whose mere presence is mystifying.
Be more open about opportunities and pathways to career growth and promotions.
