A recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn out of the blue, saying she was impressed with my background and expressed interest in setting up a technical screen. I responded, and she was quick in setting up a call. The call went well, and she told me to expect to hear from the hiring manager in about a week with details on the next step. That was over two months ago.

I checked in multiple times. At first, I was assured that she would reach out to the hiring manager and that I would get a response by the end of the week, but I never heard back. Eventually, she stopped responding to my emails altogether.

About a month later, I applied to a different Software Engineer position I saw on LinkedIn, posted by a different recruiter with a different manager. The exact same thing happened. I got the technical screen set up in a reasonable amount of time, the screen went well, and I was assured that I would be contacted by a manager within a week's time. Then I never heard back.

Again, I checked in multiple times and got to the point where the recruiter stopped responding to my emails. After two months of trying with two different recruiters for two different positions, I have since given up. Both recruiters were very friendly and seemed interested in having me join the team, but the recruitment process is unprofessional and unorganized.
