Received rejection email before the interview, and the interview still happened.
The interview consisted of a first phase where they asked questions about my resume and applicable experiences. Then, a research and programming assignment.
I was knocked out at this point.
The next stage was meeting with the team manager. The interviewer expressed love for me as a candidate but insisted he couldn't let me go forward because of what he admittedly defined as a trivial issue in my assignment. This made me wonder if the interviewer had made the decision before I was even invited for the interview.
Nokia needs an HR department for hiring.
