The interview process consisted of a single meeting with the team.
In the beginning, I was asked to fill out a physical form that asked for an excessive amount of information for an introductory interview (e.g., my home address, contacts (names and emails/phone numbers) for all my previous roles, accepting terms and conditions, my signature).
It was a little awkward filling out this form with the team just looking at me and not taking this opportunity to ask questions about me. The rest of the information requested could be found on my resume; it felt like I was doing a recruiter's job.
They asked me a few questions on the technologies they were interested in, but nothing in-depth. There were also some questions regarding my academic background.
They told me straight away they would extend an offer but would not discuss salary information, although they asked me about my salary expectations for the role.
What are your salary expectations?
