Senior Software Developer Interview Experience

Process

After I sent my application by mail, the first contact was a phone interview where hard technical facts were asked (I guess to filter the people).

After that, I was invited to a 1:1 interview where they wanted to know more about my background (previous employer, previous projects) and technical skills.

Later at home, I had to attend a personality test via the internet – as preparation for the next interview, which was scheduled two weeks later.

This interview took four hours. One hour each for:

  • Personnel manager
  • Project manager
  • Skill tests
  • Something to puzzle over

Two days later, I had a very good job offer.

The strange things: I was not allowed to see my prospective workplace, and they did not plan any time for initial training.
