Nokia's security business is stable, and thus layoffs are minimized. Overall Head Office policies are sound. Beautiful campus and a good cafeteria.
The security business in Mountain View is very poorly managed. The hostile relationship between Nokia (platform supplier) and Checkpoint (application supplier) allowed other companies to win business.
The actual management in that organization is mediocre at best, but they are very good at in-fighting, especially between the Boston and California branches. Very juvenile.
