Pros

Great instructional environment for beginners, with good teammates supporting you to share know-how. Great understanding from your managers, especially line managers. Feeling a European culture in the environment mostly. No problems with payments, with overwork and on-duty payments made on time. There are some international project opportunities, and they may also send you abroad for training or projects. Good reputation of this old phone giant and new network infrastructure giant. There is a brilliant future for the company, because Huawei is losing ground on 5G and network infrastructure due to political reasons. The new CEO is giving courage and hope for the future.

Cons
  • There is a huge gap between management and individual salaries.
  • If you don't raise a red flag or if you don't attend to quit and go to another company, you will have a similar salary in the same position for years.
  • Salary raises are under the inflation rate.
  • As Turkey has a problematic economy and life, the company sometimes thinks Turkey is comfortable as Finland.
  • You can feel alone and unsupported in some projects or issues. They give all responsibility to one person with no more feedback or help, but just pushing to finish that work.
  • Promotion opportunities are really slow because most managers have been in the same seat for years.
