Old company with a long history. Excellent career opportunities. The company has gone through several downshifts but has always survived.
They made a huge mistake with their smartphone strategy. Windows Phone didn't fly, but their management board was clever enough to sell that business.
Take care of your people!!
First interview with hiring manager and senior engineer. The interview was really relaxed. We went through my work history and talked about the new position. Got an offer one week after. Signed my contract one week after the offer.
It has two people on the panel and asks general questions. They asked about: * Strengths * Weaknesses * How to explain web development to a non-technical person * Challenges faced in a project and how you overcame them.
There were two interview rounds. They talked more about what kind of topics might be available by the time I joined and what sort of work they think would be relevant to me based on my resume.
