I was fortunate to get lots of great work, though most of the other components did not have interesting work, including the one I was in.
Quite a lot of events happened.
No pay parity.
Transparency issues.
Have a very stringent hiring process, which is not in line with the work that one is required to do.
Quite a few potential politicians can be found.
Too much favoritism.
Work from home just for namesake (at least this was the case in our team).
Hike for new joinees not consistent.
Put a check on the politicians.
You need to change/downgrade your hiring process. You don't need this process for the kind of work you have.
Hikes should be standardized across teams. Some managers give hikes to new joiners completing a year, while others do not.
Two technical rounds, one hiring manager round, and one HR round. All the rounds were good and finished within two weeks. After the HR round, I was told that the offer letter would be sent in 5-6 working days. But I never received the offer letter
The interview process is as follows: 1. Round 1: Exam. It consists of aptitude, logical reasoning, and two coding questions. It is for two and a half hours. 2. Round 2: Three coding questions, 3 hours in HackerEarth. 3. Technical round for 1 hour.
They have asked about basic Python and OS, and about the project. You should know everything you have written in your resume. They will also ask you about what you know about Nokia and its history.
