It was a great place to work. I've had great and experienced colleagues and managers. I learned a lot and made good friends while working in different areas. I spent 20.5 years here.
No clear direction. Continuous reorganization in the hope that productivity will increase.
New methodologies pushed from management, hoping for the same without considering the nature of tasks or the opinions of the engineers.
Pointless meetings.
Wasted time/effort on tools that are duplicated or never used.
Hard work is rarely appreciated.
On the other hand, pretend you're an expert and talk a lot about a topic (or nothing), and you will get promoted. Some selection seems to be done for reasons other than experience.
Listen to employees (not the surveys).
Let the teams work in a way they're most effective.
Do change disappointing/unsupportive managers.
