Nepotism. Avoid them
They try to keep a good culture related to working hours. People, in the majority, try to show a kindness.
Managers promote their friends and those who do the reporting. They lack not only tech skills but also soft skills.
They try to work as little as possible, and even a daily meeting is not effective anymore.
Not to mention that they are not taking care of your career path.
Regarding HR, it is completely useless.
The company is not in good times, as they have plans for layoffs and they try to support projects with working students.
Salaries are below market average.
Fire those unskilled managers. They ruin the company with their politics and their lies. Reward good engineers who support their colleagues and their projects.
