Overall, Nokia respects its employees. Management is very human and willing to share information with employees, allowing them to have a balance between work and life.
Too many reorgs, which are actually not necessary. All decisions are made in Finland, and most were not good. It is hard to get a promotion. Salary is not competitive.
Stayed focused on critical issues. Software development is different from hardware development. No company can make many versions of software good.
Make the OS and fundamental libraries solid; otherwise, applications based on them will be very, very buggy. Consequently, customers will give up on Nokia devices.
