Nokia seemed to have the best intentions for their employees: good work/life balance, great benefits, and a positive work environment.
Not really any cons, other than when they were not keeping up in the smartphone era. Continual cost cutting and squeezing of budgets really hurt morale at times. Now, with the phone division sold to Microsoft, the rest of Nokia seems to be doing well.
There was a panel of 4 people who interviewed me, with 2 people at each time. They asked a mix of technical and behavioral questions. They were very friendly and tried to guide me to give them the answers.
All candidates presented themselves in a circle to the team one by one, telling about personal projects, experiences, and studies. Then we did an easy technical test afterward. In total, it was about 3 hours.
The interview was intense but rewarding. Technical questions challenged my skills. Behavioral questions assessed my fit. I prepared thoroughly, stayed confident, and showcased my strengths. I left feeling optimistic and eager for the next steps.
