I've been in the industry for over 10 years. The onsite interviews were mainly high-level and sometimes asked questions irrelevant to the position or my experience. It seemed they didn't know what they were looking for.
There was a lack of courtesy. After such a long process, I would expect to hear feedback if not moving forward, especially since they repeatedly stated everything was positive until the last minute.
They offered the lowest starting salary in the Bay Area, regardless of experience or degree (short-sighted, but I would blame the founders).
The questions were relevantly easy: draw a CAN circuit, functional safety, testing, etc.
