I applied online and received a phone call request. It was one of the worst phone calls I've ever had.
The recruiter was 10 minutes late to the call. They started with an agenda but didn't explain anything about the role or the company.
They kept interrupting me. The job description said one thing, and the recruiter said another. I felt that the recruiter didn't have a clear idea about the role or the process involved. When I asked about a technical standard, the recruiter didn't seem to understand the question nor did they pay attention to what I was saying.
Honest advice: Don't make the candidate experience such a terrible thing. Train your recruiters and don't make it like a sales pitch.
