Recruiter and domain rounds went fine. I asked about the coding challenge, and the recruiter said, “We usually ask more applied questions, not LC problems for the initial coding challenge.”
Interview starts, and voila! A completely random LC question with zero relevance to the job. They didn’t even bother to copy and paste the original problem statement and examples from LC.
The interviewer also said, "Yeah, we don't really deal with these kinds of problems at work, but here you go!"
Can't wait for AI to pull the plug on LeetCode for good.
Absolutely random LC medium question
