This has to be the WORST interview experience in my decade-long career.
The phone screen went fine. The question was LeetCode-type, based on DSA.
I was invited for the onsite. Since all onsite interviews were virtual during the pandemic, I decided to split the interviews between two days.
The first day's interviews went well. It was quite simple, as it included a behavioral interview and a system design round. The system design was more focused on my projects and a little regarding distributed systems.
The next set of interviews, scheduled for after two days, I had to cancel because I was not feeling well enough. After I sent out the reschedule email, they sent out a reply stating I was not a fit. Up until the point I was scheduled for the interview, everything was fine. Suddenly, after deciding to reschedule, they found me unfit for their culture. I wonder how that's possible.
NEVER EVER INTERVIEW OR WORK FOR SUCH INHUMAN PEOPLE.
Arrays and String questions, LeetCode style.
