Terrific engineering culture working on one of the hardest and most impactful engineering problems there is: driverless autonomous vehicles for mass deployment. Not much politics, streamlined decision making, and the ability to focus on solving problems with real scope and improving the system.
Work on non-autonomy teams may not quite realize the same scope, culture, or impact as those working on the critical path, and as a result have a harder time identifying with the company's vision or mission.
I wrote the OA and had the chance to go through the screening. The interviewer seemed impressed, but I didn't go to the next round. I was happy to learn about the company, though, and the screening helped me understand where I need to do better.
