The interview process included the following stages:

• Machine learning basics, including forward and backward passes for a simple MLP.
• A discussion about my experience, which went quite deep into some topics.
• An interview with the team lead. We discussed my previous experience again, with a deeper discussion of relevant experience to the position.
• A behavioral round with the hiring manager.
• A machine learning coding round with pretty standard questions, such as implementing dropout, batch normalization, and softmax.
• LeetCode-style problems, featuring three medium-difficulty problems in one hour.

After all this, I received a rejection with no feedback. The interview process was very long. A few times, I had to ping the recruiter about the next steps.
