Process

On-campus hiring for NCG in IISc Bengaluru.

  1. Online test:

    • No. of questions: 19
    • Time: 50 mins
    • Difficulty level: Moderate to hard.
    • Topics covered: COA, Digital electronics, aptitude.
    • Questions were lengthy to read and process but quickly solvable once understood.
  2. Technical interview:

    • Panel of 2-3.
    • Duration: 1 hour.
    • Questions from the online test that you were unable to solve.
    • Technical questions from COA, logic design, digital VLSI, etc.
    • Puzzles to test your thinking.
    • Discussion regarding projects mentioned in your resume.
  3. HR interview:

    • 10 min discussion round to assess your behavior and personality.

Questions

I was given a digital circuit and asked to identify and explain its functionality first, then write the Verilog code for it.

I was also given two waveforms and asked to generate the second one from the first.
