Nvidia came to our campus on November 30th for a test and on December 1st for interviews.

The hiring process was done in two steps.

• The first round was a descriptive test (1 hour) covering:
  • Digital Design
  • Cache concepts
  • CMOS properties
  • Fault detection, etc.

The paper was pretty much easy, but a bit lengthy.

The panel had 3 members, and each candidate was interviewed for 40-50 minutes.

First, they asked about my area of interest. When I answered Architecture, three of them asked basic questions on Cache, PIC, DMA, Fault Detection, etc.

One of them asked, "If given a chance, which question in the paper would you attempt?" I corrected my mistake in fault detection.
