A 45-minute phone interview was conducted over MS Teams.
The interviewer spent approximately 30 minutes explaining the position and the team.
Following that, they shared a Google Doc containing an algorithm problem and asked me to solve it, writing code and/or pseudocode.
It seemed rather unfair to introduce a difficult algorithm problem with only about 15 minutes remaining in the allotted time.
I verbally solved it to the best of my ability, but ultimately ran out of time.
I received an email the next day stating that they had decided to move forward without me.
Asked basic questions about experience.
Then asked a decently difficult algorithmic question.
