After applying on the website, I received an email from their recruitment department proposing phone interviews. I actually had two phone interviews, and the audience was more or less the same: the hiring manager, his boss, and the department director. We spent an hour presenting myself and doing a kind of simulation about possible situations they proposed.
I received no feedback, but after a few months, an invitation for a new phone call arrived (same audience, more or less same topics). The content was more or less the same. This time, apparently, the results were good, and in two weeks, I got the invitation for a face-to-face interview.
I was always asked to introduce myself and guide them through a simulated case, respond to a few technical questions, and explain why I would prefer to join them rather than stay in my current company. The hiring manager was rude; I had the feeling he was playing a role just to check how I react under stress, or perhaps he was simply having a bad day. Nevertheless, it was unpleasant. The other two engineers attending the interview were decent (at least they were).
In two weeks, I got a call for a new face-to-face interview. This time it was very long (4 hours), and I met the team, the director, HR, and other people the hired resource would work with.
Out of this process, I never got any feedback. Simply put, they haven't even provided an automatic email to give feedback.
Personal consideration: I wasn't that convinced by the company (expecting much better, really). I have a certain experience, and I have been working for more than one automotive semiconductor company. Nvidia's hiring process, as far as I saw, doesn't exist at all; it is chaotic, delayed, and redundant. They look for professionals and at the same time show themselves to be unprofessional.
Very bad experience.
