Pros: NVIDIA offers the ability to obtain broad experience in the ASIC industry. Your assignments can vary wildly from project to project, but this can cause problems when projects and their schedules aren't properly managed. For example, designs can be compromised by inconsistent ownership and poor understanding of the design.
Cons: Long-term prospects for NVIDIA are somewhat uncertain in the context of AMD' and Intel's platform ownership.
Inconsistent management focus leads to disappointing project performance.

Pros: A very progressive company, they keep pushing the frontline of this industry and come up with new, awesome products each year. I worked in the Mobile department. The working hours were flexible, and you could WAH (work from home), however, most people there worked overtime.
Cons: Project managers most of the time have no idea about the workload you have. That makes job assignment uneven across the team.
