I applied and got a phone screen. The interview was a little odd. I asked the recruiter for things I should be prepared for, and they made it seem like it was going to be a "get to know the candidate" conversation. So, I prepared for standard questions like, "Why this company?"
The odd part was that the interviewer started asking really unusual questions. I am an engineer with three years of work experience, and they asked me what was the most challenging project from school. What was I supposed to answer? It was an absurd interview process with no rubric whatsoever.
I was declined for a position that I was well-qualified for.
A standard algorithmic question, as on LeetCode.
