The interviewer called me and asked many random questions, diverging from my resume. The engineer didn't seem to prepare for the interview at all. The entire hour had zero coding questions, which is very different from any other company for a new grad interview. It was straight-up questions related to different parts, including many different fields: Python, security, Git. The questions were very weird and didn't seem to have a focus. I got questions like, 'Which version of Python did you use for your internship?' After I answered Python 3, the interviewer was like, 'Why Python 3 and not Python 2?' I'm not exactly sure what the expectation was here.
What Python version did you use? Why?
