I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks.
From the HR side, the process was very smooth. Had an HR call discussion for 20 minutes over the phone. Had one screening round with the hiring manager for 1 hour; it was technical and behavioral, around past experience and future expectations. For the next round, there were 2 interviewers who asked lots of questions in a quick way that felt like a speed run, then gave 2 LeetCode Medium problems in the same interview, both needing to be solved in 20 minutes. I was able to solve only 1, but the interviewers were good.
Then came the last technical round; there were also 2 interviewers there, and their first question was how many lines of code you write everyday (I mean wtf, I write based on requirements, not on lines, but both of them were very persistent: tell me how many lines of code to write each day, each week, each month uhhhhh). Then had 2 coding problems: one was a LeetCode Hard, for both of them I got 7 minutes each (couldn't make the second, it was a LeetCode Hard puzzle problem; I have applied for QA, not top-class SDE, I doubt even they would be able to crack it in 7 minutes if seeing the problem for the first time). Then 1 more coding problem to review, found 5 bugs in that code, found all, then some questions on RAG (how to implement RAG), then system design for an automation framework to generate a consent form using multiple agents.
