Good payroll company
Nvidia might sound like something big, but it is one of the most toxic places I have ever worked.
I think they are on a mission to educate professionals on non-technical prompt engineering because they don't believe in retaining contractual staff. Nvidia's LLM DF India team is toxic, especially the managers and the senior-level engineers.
They sound like they have the best work culture, but the truth is they are not.
Every year, they ask their payroll company to hire professionals with 0-5 years of experience from various domains and engage them in some no-brainer projects without demonstrating the final outcome. As per the manager, clients are never happy with the deliverables and performance.
Some workers were very dishonest with work and never did anything on time, which led them to start micromanagement. However, a few workers were extremely serious about their jobs and worked hard on projects.
As 2024 unfolded, we got to work on many projects before their GTC AI conference week, led by Jensen (CEO). No sooner did the conference end than we stopped receiving new projects, and the actual game has begun: laying off people for baseless reasons.
They prepared an efficiency report card and informed the payroll company to lay off. Around 60-75 people were laid off batch-wise, and they forced us to silently resign.
The manager never showed up after that. He was a horrible person, a two-faced chap.
The company must understand that youths are in dire need of jobs, and firing them by framing baseless reasons cannot always be the solution.
Their baseless projects ruined my creativity as a writer. I was never allowed to work on projects that I have expertise in.
Jensen and Nvidia might speak many big words in their keynote speeches, but in reality, they are ruining careers without helping one to develop.
Randstad India and Spectrum have already started to hire fresh pieces of "bakras" again.
I wish the labor laws in India were as strong as in other developed countries.
To the management of Nvidia, India, at least inform your payroll company properly about your requirements and your motive. So, professionals who join here with expectations are well aware that their work here at Nvidia is nothing but a brief stint.
Also, think about the families of the number of people you let go every year. Like you, we too have families and we too have to bring food to our table. Think before hiring.

I recently interviewed for a Software Intern position at NVIDIA. Although I was not selected, the experience was both challenging and rewarding. Here’s a quick rundown of my journey: **Application Process:** I applied online through NVIDIA’s career
It was a very smooth and interesting process. The recruiter reached out with an initial phone screening after applying on the careers page. This was then followed by: * Three technical rounds * One managerial round, which consisted of a few beh
