Some very smart people. Cutting-edge technology across different categories. I like all the people on my team, including my manager. Some work can be quite interesting. A great new HQ building is being built for late 2017. The CEO can be very inspiring. The stock is way up in the last couple of years.
Work-life balance isn't great and is very bad for some people.
It can be very political.
It's hard to promote to new levels.
Communication between teams could be better.
Management gets shuffled around even if they're underperforming or adding nothing, instead of being demoted or let go.
There's only a $2500 401k match.
Pay is below market average, from what I've heard.
There are no RSUs for level 3 and below.
Cafe food quality is usually bad.
Increase the 401k match. Need better staffing of some teams. Better work-life balance. Better cafe food.
I applied through LinkedIn, and a recruiter reached out to schedule a call with the hiring manager. It went quite well, and I was then proceeded to the next steps. I reached out to the recruiter asking what I should expect from the interviews: Was i
The interview process is good and includes 4 rounds. These rounds include form filling, an online test, and technical and HR interviews. The paper is 40 minutes long and covers code, VLSI, digital logic, and computer architecture.
Interview scheduling was very smooth. The interviewer was nice and friendly. The interview questions were totally related to work experience, nothing out of the box. Questions were related to work, coding language, the verification process, and all.
