Quality work in DFT.
Management is decent.
Medical/401k/HSA are good.
Bad work-life balance.
There is a big imbalance of salary between hardware and software folks within NVIDIA, which is not right as NVIDIA's core value is hardware.
HR was pretty responsive. The interview process was conducted well. There are definitely lots of smart people at Nvidia. The interview itself was thorough, but not completely relevant to the position applied for.
Both interviews are technical. First round is just going through the resume, deep diving into each project, and the second round is LeetCode medium. Make sure to know the role details and brush up on your resume.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. It was a good process overall. After the recruiter screen, I had a technical round with the hiring manager. It was a lot of Leetcode mediums, and he asked me a couple coding questions
