The main problem is that Jensen does not want us to make real products. Therefore, we will never solve the real problems in the real products. If our task is to encourage other companies, it's not possible to do the right things. Maybe in 10 or 20 years, our work will bring some benefits, but I really don't think this is beneficial for a personal career. I prefer to help other people and the whole world with the noticed problems rather than imagined problems. The most important part of R&D is whether there will be a product. For most teams, I don't think making a product is helpful for our company. For example, if we produce a great product, we will reduce the selling of GPUs, as the business bill will be taken by us rather than tier 1. Therefore, I see a dead end for my career at Nvidia unless I choose to stop my lifelong career and just enjoy having fun. NVIDIA has already been the richest company in the world, and it must be a great opportunity for anyone who wants to advance their career. Joining NVIDIA could be one of the best experiences for any person, while leaving NVIDIA will make us great.
