This is a very challenging place to be. Good culture, good innovation. Did I mention free food? Well, almost free.
I liked this place up until the recent changes under a year ago. They really should reconsider the VPs who run the business units. Remove them and get back to the way things were a year ago. Now we're talking. :)
Not all, but recent promotions of the VPs are flat out horrible. They lack the technical depth and leadership skills. It was not like this a year ago. The organization used to be flat with very little political games. Now it is layered.
Demote yourselves! You are doing the company an injustice.
When I arrived, I did not know what position I was interviewed for, nor was I told during the interview. I knew it only when I received an offer.
There were 2 interviewers. They asked about my background, grades, and why I am interested in this role. After that, they gave me 2 logic questions (which I'm not sure how they are related to QA).
Three interviews were conducted with Managers, a VP, and HR. The first interview concluded with a QA question: "How would you check a drink machine?" The second interview included some code questions and a discussion of personal experience. HR con
