Top-notch technologies. The most complex chip and SW development jobs you can find anywhere. It still maintains a startup culture, where each individual can contribute in a big way. Great if you are straight out of school and a top performer; you don't have to spend years doing menial tasks getting "experience".
Long hours. Definitely not a place where you can go and coast. If you want that, you are better off at Intel or Sun.
Can't think of much here. From over a dozen 3D chip startups, Nvidia and ATI (AMD) are the only ones left. And, Nvidia, for now, is ahead. The results speak for themselves. Overall, a well-managed company.
