You have a chance to move up very quickly if you completely dedicate yourself, ignoring your personal life.
They only recognize the work with heavy multitasking rather than smart work. You will find many folks here who work 14 hours a day, and you will be compared against them for appraisal.
Because of your importance to heavy multitasking in evaluating engineers' work, many employees are distorting their work-life balance in order to go up the ladder. Please take care of them, as they are not going to live longer that way. Encourage people who do smart work rather than heavy work.
