Lots to learn. Keeps you busy.
Expect weekend work at least once a month.
Rude upper management.
It was good. They asked some technical questions about C++ and low-level systems. Then we went over OOP (Object-Oriented Programming) concepts. He was genuinely nice and interested to hear about my experience.
I interviewed for an embedded software engineer role in the Automotive department, focusing on self-driving cars. They asked me many questions about bit manipulation, a couple questions about multithreading, and C++ concepts.
The focus was primarily on Operating Systems (OS) questions and LeetCode medium/hard problems, all of which had to be solved in C (no other language was allowed). A deep understanding of OS concepts was important.
