Pros

HR policies are employee-centric. Unlike various other service-based companies (which are employer-centric), NVidia takes good care of employees, given that you are performing well and maintaining a good rapport.

Management will grant full autonomy for your work once you have proved your excellence and built confidence.

Pays above competition.

If you have strong leadership skills (along with technical expertise), you can get to a relevant position quickly on the ladder, given you have consistently performed and proved yourself. No age/experience criteria for an exceptional candidate.

Core beliefs/principles of company culture are very fair and encouraging.

No time constraints (i.e., no. of hours and in/out time).

I was placed through campus recruitment.

I left due to personal reasons, but I would recommend this company to anyone with the right attitude and skills. They can benefit and flourish through this company and its culture.

Cons

I don't see any cons, but rather want to give a few suggestions as per my experience.

Advice to Management

Many employees with 8+ years of tenure are somewhat laid back and settled, which is not a bad thing as their performance is regularly evaluated. However, they could be more enthusiastic regarding adopting market technologies and skills.

Apart from core development teams, other teams are not paid on similar (but lower) pay scales, which kind of makes them feel inferior, which they are not.

There is a tradition of campus recruitment that should be changed. Candidates recruited from X college should not automatically belong to Y team. Everybody should be given a fair chance and not just be evaluated on their educational background.

Non-core teams should also up their game by adopting the latest technologies through training and actual projects based on acquired skills.
