I submitted an application at the beginning of October and received a phone interview before Christmas. After waiting for nearly three months, there was no response. So I called Optiver to confirm the status of my application. I was then told that I could not move to the next step. I really think that was just an excuse, and the real reason is that HR forgot about my application, so she had to apologize to me to cover up the truth that she had made a mistake.
